Lions Entertain VIP's The Lions club had our annual Christmas party for VIP's on December 10. Around 70 VIP's, Lions, and special guests attended and enjoyed entertainment by the Sigmon sisters from Denton. Click here for article that was published in the Archdale-Trinity News. (used with permission) BBQ held October 13 We had our fall BBQ on the 13th and it was a great success. We had an impromptu duet by Lion Sam Hall on his saw and Arlis Farlow, the Whistling Songbird. Lion Sam also played a few songs on his saw with a piano accompaniment. Lions Install Officers The Archdale-Trinity Lions Club installed new officers for the coming year at their Spouse's/Installation Night. Past District Governor Willie Welborn of the Fair Grove Lions Club presided over the installation of officers. PDG Willie Welborn also presented the "Lion of the Year Award" to Lion David Campbell. Lions Receive District Awards At the District 31-D awards banquet, Lion Mike Johnson received the "100% Secretary Award", Lion Nancy Burrow received the "100% Treasurer Award", Lion David Campbell received the "Best Bulletin in District 31-D Award", and the entire club received the "100% Club Award".
